The 3 images above are the sketch from user testing with people. It provides more visualising feedback from the participants, including the design of the icons, the login page, and the journal page.

Evaluation for the first user testing

  1. We apply light grey for the bottom bar instead of the original blue one

  2. We include the support website URL in the ‘Support’ page so that the users can easily check for more information

  3. We have added an ‘Insert’ page for journal insertion and the users can either publish, save draft or cancel the current entry.

  4. Change the question to ‘You’ to ‘I’ -> How do i solve the problem? This allows users to feel more involved.

  5. Most of the participants feel confused about our page due to the page title and the complex flow. We will apply Clear titles for each page and to keep the flow as simple as possible.

  6. We removed one of the framework, since it is similar to how the other teamwork does. We focused on the social media reflection page and make the size of the button double size comparing to the other two buttons representing our main focus.

  7. We have gained feedback from our tutors about including long-term mood tracking function in our app, we did some research about the topic and found it benefits our target audience thus, we decided to include the function in our app.
