Showcase feedback

We have gain many useful feedback from the showcase. Most of the feedback is really insightful, however, due to the time limitation, we may not be able to apply all the suggestions to our app.

Feedback gained from showcase

1. upload functionality for post - need that for full user experience
2. Run proper user testing - even internally, see how effective the solution is
3. social aspect of the app is lacking; needs to be more subtle in its implementation; e.g. lead into the reflection - 'how you feel' is a loaded question, or encourage people to use support given circumstances instead of just having it sit there
4. bigger picture social element - limited scope - start a conversation
5. Track each emotion over time instead of one line for all emotions onto a graph
6. Document unfinished stuff - diary, challenges

Further questions

Why do you choose to use phone to access the product? Since phone is ubiquitous in modern society, and most people access social media on their mobile, thus, after they browse the social media, it would be more convenient for them to document down their feeling through an app. The other reason of hosting through mobile is that it is portable, so that the users can easily and frequently access the app.

How are you going to promote your product? We would collaborate with social media platform, if the platform detect of continuously negative posts from users, it would automatically suggest our website to the specific users. The marketing strategy allows us to target on people who are more likely interested in our product.

Which core feature would you choose to implement in the future? The answer varies from team members. The exchange diaries is the function I would like to implement in the future, since from the interview, people claimed that writing diaries with friends allows motivation and is helpful for them to express themselves.

How using journal with friends will turn out in further implementation? Our idea is to create a place called 'Room', where it stores all the entries between friends. At the beginning, the users can choose or create a framework themselves, and set up the notification time. The app will send out reminders on the specific time and when the other users publish their diaries. The users can comment on the others posts and give feedback to it.

1. Collaborate with different music playing company, such as spotify, where our users
2. Add more social component in the app, apply the forum feature to the app.
