We did the 8 interviews about issues of health and exercise. Interview is a kind of efficient way for us to have a better understanding of users feeling and requirements, which could provide useful enlightenment for us in the health domain. And then we clarify the insights from edited interview transcripts. Questions are mainly about what motivates them to keep fitness, what makes them quit doing exercise, do they prefer professional training or entertainment exercise and so on. Therefore, abundant interview information facilitates our initial concept. We found that people usually quit doing exercise because of a lack of motivation and lazy inertia. Some people cannot see big progress they made in a period of time, which struck down her confidence to continue exercising. Some people even thought doing exercise is such a boring thing that they really don’t want to do. On the other hand, we accidentally found that most people prefer entertainment exercise than professional training. In the end, that’s how we progress our initial concept plan. We tended to make an application with more entertainment elements that stimulate people to have physical activities as much as possible. Meanwhile, we need to pay attention to track users’ personal data, such as calorie consumption to remind them how much progress they have made.
