Text from the Craigslist ad:
Classic Jeep for sale with PTO, Many new parts include, 235/75R15 Mud Dawgs, Leaf Springs, Rancho Shocks, Carburetor, Battery, Hoses, Dual Reservoir master cylinder, Lights, Manifold, Exhaust pipe and muffler, to name a few. 4 cylinder F-134 Hurricane engine needs some work.
I purchased this jeep from the 3rd or 4th owner who drove it up from the coast and worked on it for about 2 years. When I picked it up, the engine would turn over but it would not start. It wasn't driven for about a year or so. I towed it to my friend's farm in Valle Crucis and started working on it. I got it running, fixed a bunch of issues and got it home. Now I need to fix some suspension issues and take care of the electrical system.
- September 2019 to April 2020 - The jeep is on the road and driving. I've been working on fixing little things, but it's just about ready to daily drive once the COVID-19 pandemic calms down.
- September 2019 - New engine is in and it tried to start, finished rewiring the jeep, finished the dash.

- March 2019 - Found a 1950's Sears Deluxe Hardtop for the 3B.
- April 2019 - Rebuilt the gears, changed differential gear oil and cleaned up the engine.
- February 2019 - The "The transfer case doesn't work anymore" debacle occurred. The front body work is off and we're getting ready to start removing the engine and getting ready to replace a lot of parts.
- November 2018 - The fuel tank has been restored, new rubber line ran from the tank to the old fuel system and the jeep is now at the shop! Installed the original style Carter YF and AC fuel pump. Also, cleaned and adjusted the intake rocker arm assembly and set the valve lash, the ticking is gone.
- June 2018 - The CJ is back at the farm!
