Yes, It uses OpenVINO through Optimum for LLM inference. BTW I'm the contributor 😄

Now I see, thank you! May be you can mention Optimum with OpenVINO backend on the project readme, that it will be easy to find that it is used.
Btw, there is an approach alternative to optimum to run accelerated LLM inference with OpenVINO https://github.com/openvinotoolkit/openvino.genai
It may be interesting for you to take a look.
