SpeedFlicks Icon

SpeedFlicks

SpeedFlicks is a Chrome extension that allows you to control the playback speed of YouTube videos. You can easily increase, decrease, set, and reset the speed of the video using the extension's popup interface.

Features

  • Set Speed: Set the playback speed to a specific value between 0.10x and 10.0x.
  • Increment Speed: Increase the playback speed by 0.25x.
  • Decrement Speed: Decrease the playback speed by 0.25x.
  • Reset Speed: Reset the playback speed to the default value of 1.0x.
  • Status Indicator: Shows whether the extension is active or inactive on the current tab.

Installation

  1. Clone or download this repository.
  2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.
  3. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top right corner.
  4. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the directory where you cloned or downloaded this repository.

Usage

  1. Open a YouTube video in Chrome.
  2. Click on the SpeedFlicks extension icon in the Chrome toolbar.
  3. Use the popup interface to control the playback speed of the video.
