Internship Project Showcase
Objective: Analyzing sales data to uncover trends, identify top-selling products, and assess revenue metrics crucial for strategic decision-making. Summary: This project involved an in-depth analysis of a substantial sales dataset to extract actionable insights. I investigated sales trends over time, pinpointed top-performing products, computed key revenue metrics such as total sales and profit margins, and utilized visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Through this project, I demonstrated proficiency in handling and deriving insights from large datasets, facilitating data-driven recommendations to enhance sales strategies.
- Profitability Analysis: The overall profit margin is currently at 58.8%. We identified one segment with notably lower profit margins and three segments with significantly higher profit margins.
- Revenue Breakdown: Total global revenue amounts to $3,442,035.97. Revenue generated from MacBook Pro Laptops and other segments surpasses that of other products.
- Sales Volume: The global sales volume currently stands at 209,079 units. Sales volume in San Francisco and other segments outpaces that of other regions.
