Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

We, as members, contributors, and leaders of this community, are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of:

Expected Behavior

All community members are expected to uphold the following standards:

  • Be Kind & Respectful: Treat others with empathy, kindness, and respect.
  • Embrace Differences: Value diverse perspectives and experiences.
  • Communicate Constructively: Provide and accept feedback in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Be Accountable: Own up to mistakes, apologize when necessary, and learn from them.
  • Prioritize the Community: Act in the best interests of the community rather than personal gain.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment & Abuse: Trolling, insults, derogatory comments, personal or political attacks.
  • Sexual Misconduct: Sexualized language, imagery, unwelcome advances, or any inappropriate sexual conduct.
  • Privacy Violations: Sharing private or sensitive information without consent.
  • Disruptive Behavior: Deliberate intimidation, excessive interruptions, or any action that disrupts community discussions.
  • Unprofessional Conduct: Any behavior that would be deemed inappropriate in a professional setting.

Enforcement Responsibilities

Community leaders are responsible for enforcing this Code of Conduct fairly and consistently. They have the right to:

  • Remove, edit, or reject contributions that violate this Code of Conduct.
  • Take appropriate corrective action, including warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal.
  • Communicate reasons for moderation decisions where appropriate.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, including:

  • Online forums, chats, and social media interactions
  • In-person events, meetups, and conferences
  • Any public representation of the community, such as official social media accounts or email communications

Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, please report it to the community leaders at [INSERT CONTACT METHOD].

We take all reports seriously and will investigate them promptly while ensuring the privacy and security of the reporter.

Enforcement Guidelines

Community leaders will follow these guidelines when enforcing this Code of Conduct:

1. Warning

  • Impact: Minor violations, such as inappropriate language or unprofessional conduct.
  • Action: A private warning with clarification of the issue and request for improvement.

2. Temporary Restrictions

  • Impact: Repeated violations or behavior that disrupts community interactions.
  • Action: Temporary restrictions on participation, such as limited posting privileges or time-based bans.

3. Temporary Ban

  • Impact: Serious violations, harassment, or ongoing disruptive behavior.
  • Action: A temporary ban from all community activities. Further violations may lead to a permanent ban.

4. Permanent Ban

  • Impact: Severe or repeated breaches of community standards, including harassment, threats, or malicious intent.
  • Action: A permanent ban from all community participation.
