    This seems to have made scanning MUCH faster since updating the entire player table every time took some time to execute, while just fetching it "on the fly" is very fast.
    On the downside is that game owners and game completions is now only recalculated once an hour - but it's done without locking the database so the scanner can continue to work while this data is being recalculated.

First of all, we just want to announce a huge milestone. We just finished our scan of the initial 100k players we entered when opening the site five years ago back in 2019. 100k in five years?! Yeah, it's been a couple of bumps along the way that, among other things, forced us to rescan a lot of profiles. And just recently we succeeded in increasing our number of scanners from 1 to 20. Also, your profile submission from the front page always took priority, and you visitors have been submitted a lot of profiles over the years. We are in fact over 150k profiles in total in the database, however, PSN100 doesn't show cheaters, private, hidden or inactive profiles, so if we remove those from the count so are we on 63k profiles. Which still is impressive!

However, we aren't quite done yet. We just entered top 100k profiles again from various sites in case we missed any or there are some new high profiles around. And this should be done much faster this time around since the majority of them should already be in our database.

  • Handle deadlock case.

  • No longer removes a cheater profile that's been submitted into the queue. This is because we for some time now have more then one scanner, it won't halt the scanning process as much. This will speed up the profile if in the rare case it turns up not to be a cheater.
