Setting the Anchor
The Anchor describes the reference value for the first Delta Ct analysis (the reference within the same dataset). You may choose two pre-tailored or a custom value as your anchor.
By default the anchor is set to "grouped" which defines the first entry of each group as the reference value for that group. Therefore, each group is treated separately from the other groups.
You may also set the anchor to "first", in which case the very first entry in the dataset (i.e. the first replicate of the first group) is set as the reference value for all groups. Therefore, all groups are analysed relative to the first group.
If neither of these options are what you need, you may specify any numeric value as your reference. In this case all groups will be analysed using this reference.
