Is there a way that we can get some of the macros and hold taps etc. broken out so that we can configure it directly within the GUI in the Glove80 layout editor?

Yes, that should be possible by generating the JSON file directly rather than the DTSI snippets.

Never having worked with DTSI or this config. Can you recommend some resources? I'd love to contribute.
