Render Book as single HTML

Description

Hi, I would like to render my Quarto book as a single HTML instead of having an HTML per chapter.
embed-resources does not work and also seems like a bad idea see https://github.com/quarto-dev/quarto-cli/issues/11316.
With bookdown I can specify that I would like to have a single HTML (bookdown::gitbook(self_contained = TRUE, split_by = "none").

Steps I've ran:

quarto create project book
quarto render

_book/ contains an HTML for each chapter, while the PDF is contained in a single file.

Is there a way to do this with Quarto?

No, as described in many other thread and at the very beginning of the documentation about the Book project type.
The only formats supported are:

• html -> website thus multi-pages
• pdf -> single document via LaTeX
• docx -> single Microsoft Word document
• epub -> single file document EPUB
• asciidoc -> multi-pages
