VRoid SDK 0.2.0 Release Announcement

Dear SDK Developers

VRoid SDK 0.2.0 is now available!

VRM1.0 models can now be loaded to VRoid Hub. VRM1.0 models are now displayed with appropriate licenses.

BREAKING CHANGES

• We've updated the places where the VRM0.0 package com.vrmc.univrm (VRM) was used in ModelLoader VRM uploads to use the VRM1.0 package com.vrmc.vrm (UniVRM10) instead.
  • It is still possible to load VRM0 models. However, VRM0.0 models will be imported by the VRM1.0 package, and materials used, for example, will be from the VRM1.0 package.
• ModelLoader argument was updated from onGenerateVRMImporterContext to IMaterialDescriptorGenerator materialGenerator.
  • Because we no longer use ImporterContext in com.vrmc.vrm

CHANGELOG

• In order to reduce library maintenance time, we have deleted the following examples using deprecated API. We have not deleted Legacy API, we have only deleted the Examples.
  • VRoidSDK/Examples/Legacy/ArtworkExample/Scenes/ImageUploadExample.unity
  • VRoidSDK/Examples/Legacy/CharacterModelExample/Scenes/Example.unity
• Warnings output by Unity Editor have prevented many opportunities for development, so we have put controls on warnings on Legacy API use in the library. This is a temporary measure. In the future, we plan to retire Legacy API.
• Pixiv.VroidSdk.Api.DataModel.CharacterModelVersion.spec_version was necessary for implementation, so it is no longer "not recommended". We do not plan on deleting spec_version at this time.
