[Android] Endless loading of discussions and dates pages when the internet is turned off.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open app
2. Turn off the Internet
3. Open Fundamentals of Neuroscience, Part 1: The Electrical Properties of the Neuron course
4. Tap on the Discussions tab
5. Tap on the Dates tab

Result: Endless loading of discussions and dates pages when the internet is turned off. There isn't bottom panel about lack of internet on the Discussions tab.

Expected result: The Discussions and Dates tabs should display bottom panel about lack of internet when the internet is turned off.
