Is the otlphttp exporter in -contrib ?

I'm looking to get metrics from traces configured properly.
The spanmetricsconnector has a section for prometheus components that's confusing me a bit. - It mentions using the prometheusremotewrite exporter.. which I'd like to do, but I'm using otlphttp exporter in order to enable the basicauth extension.

So looking into the otelphttp exporter, I don't see it in this -contrib repo under exporters although it exists in the opentelemetry-collector repo.

Is it being deprecated or is there another reason it isn't here?
