Dynatrace exporter

Hi,

Our team is currently using the OpenTelemetry Collector to collect telemetry data from our applications. This data is exported to various systems, such as Honeycomb and Datadog, using the respective exporters available here.

I have a requirement to send all telemetry data to Dynatrace, but I couldn't find a Dynatrace exporter in the list of available exporters. Could you please explain why a Dynatrace exporter is not included, and whether it would be possible to create one if needed?

Hi, @guptapcam6. Dynatrace supports ingesting all OpenTelemetry signals through OTLP, so the OTLP/HTTP exporter can be used to send data to Dynatrace. As a result, there's no need for a Dynatrace-specific exporter.

Here's an example Collector configuration that sends Data to Dynatrace and information on how to get the values for the endpoint and API token.
