The -single option is not supported.

ptolemy/configs/doc/whatsNew4.0.htm says:

  • Single Window Mode (contributed by Thales).
If vergil -single is invoked, then a single window interface is used. This interface is experimental.
    Limitations:
    • The -single argument should be the first argument.
    • The plot windows come up outside of the single window interface.
  • How this gets invoked is that $PTII/bin/vergil is a link to $PTII/bin/ptinvoke which checks that the first argument is -single and then invokes thales.vergil.SingleWindowApplication

The -single option should either be removed or fixed.

    Hello

I noticed this when i open vergil with -single option. I can open the documentation (also a model) of an actor, after i close it the toolbar (file, edit ..) disappears and i need to reopen PtolemyII.
The -single option is really useful in case of big models but it needs an enhancement in this area.

    Regards
