deleted channel keeps coming back

its happened before where I deleted a channel only to find it returned later that day or the next. this time its the UCLA film & television archive coming back for the third day in a row.

and when watching videos or podcasts that are not live I occasionally pause then rewind and fast forward to find and replay a bit. after that the video plays with captions near the bottom for a short period,maybe 30 seconds,then it disappears.

Hi, thanks for creating this issue.
I'm having a hard time understanding what's happening exactly, so I'll try to write some tips on how to report issues effectively. I'm planning to write a short guide, but I didn't get to do it yet.

1. Write a concise description of the issue you're facing, and describe visual elements (if relevant) and/or app state with more precision. For example, "I deleted a channel only to find it returned later that day or the next" I do not know if you're referring to a channel you subscribed to, or a bookmark. Also, if it is a bookmark, there are two ways to bookmark a channel (one where only the channel logo is added to the list of channels, and another where the channel and its videos has its own row on the screen)
2. Consider the relevant settings, device model, or other information that are important to mention related to the issue
3. Consider if this happens on specific type of content (specific videos) or any content
4. List the steps to reproduce the issue. E.g. 1. Add "some channel" to bookmarks by long pressing it and selecting "Add to channels bookmark"
   2. Go to bookmarks
   3. Long press the channel, and remove bookmark
   4. Restart the app
   5. The bookmark is back
5. Describe the outcome that you would expect (e.g. I expect the bookmark not to comeback)
6. Describe the bookmark that is actually happening (Deleted bookmark is back)
7. Say if the steps to reproduce the issue can be used consistently, or that it's rare, or that need to try multiple times for it to happen
8. Please do not describe multiple problems in the same Github issue, and instead create separate issues for each problem
9. If possible, when a problem is hard to describe, feel free to add pictures of the screen

this occurs in Bookmarks>Channels when I highlight a channel tile then long press to delete it. it will disappears but always returns a day later.
the channel returns to the same position in the row of channels it occupied before deletion

I can't reproduce this issue. When bookmarks are changed, they immediately get saved to your device, so I don't understand how they can just "come back".
I can try to dig further, but I might need to understand your exact setup.
If you'd like to share your settings and bookmarks so I can investigate, please do the following:

• Open the web app in a browser, go to the "Info" tab, and select "Export registry"

• A popup will ask you about the code. The code will be displayed on your Roku TV
• Once you enter the code, a file will download, called playlet-registry.json. This file contains all profiles, settings, and bookmarks of Playlet.
• If you feel comfortable with it, you can send this file to me privately to my email (my email is available through the web app) and I will try to replicate the issue on my TV and investigate further.

the channel has been gone for almost three days
