This is by far the best brownie recipe we have ever tasted.

- 1 C margarine
- 2 C sugar
- 2 t vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 C Hersey's Cocoa
- 1 C flour
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 C nuts (chopped, optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9 in. baking pan. Melt butter in the microwave (medium for 2-2.5 minutes). Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with a wooden spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool. Cut into bars. Makes about 12 brownies.
