- Allow butter to soften.
- Allow eggs come to room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease bundt pan.
- In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites until firm/stiff peaks.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter.
- Add in sugar and mix.
- Add in 1 egg yolk at a time and mix.
- Add almond extract and mix.
- Add sifted ingredients dry ingredients to butter mixture and mix.
- Add milk and mix.
- By hand, fold in egg whites.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 15 min.
- Remove from pan and cool on rack.
