Contributing to ODLabel

We appreciate contributions from the community to help improve ODLabel! Whether you're reporting a bug, proposing a new feature, or submitting code changes, your contributions are valuable.

How to Contribute

  1. Report Issues: If you encounter any bugs or issues, please open a new issue on the GitHub repository. Provide a clear description of the problem, steps to reproduce, and any relevant information or error messages, including hardware specifications.

  2. Propose Features: Have an idea for a new feature or improvement? Discuss it by opening a new issue and describe your proposal in detail. Explain the motivation behind the feature and how it would benefit ODLabel users.

  3. Submit Pull Requests: If you'd like to contribute code changes, follow these steps:

    • Fork the ODLabel repository to your GitHub account.
    • Create a new branch for your changes: git checkout -b my-new-feature
    • Make your changes and commit them with descriptive commit messages.
    • Push your changes to your forked repository: git push origin my-new-feature
    • Open a new Pull Request against the main branch of the original repository.
    • Provide a clear description of your changes, and any relevant information.

Please ensure that your code follows the project's coding conventions and includes appropriate tests.
