Currently, darts for different poison effects are crafted with raw ingredients like cactus, rotten flesh and spider eye.

I suggest changing this to accept lingering potions instead, with the effect of the specified potion to be applied on the dart, just like Tipped Arrows.

Mostly for balancing purposes and to make the mod "feel" more like vanilla.

Actually a good idea - I will add a config option to accomplish that :)

Tried implementing it today, but hit a roadblock: Most of the lingering potions that would be needed don't exist. Hence, this would need a complete rewrite of the blowgun darts which I don't feel like doing (because it would take away the old school feeling of the mod and also completely break the API which is currently in place).
I have stashed my changes for now. Maybe I come up with an elegant solution for that at some point. But for now, I will postpone this, sadly - even though I really liked the idea.
