Backpack sort item deletion

When you ctrl+middleclick to sort by stack, it is not working with the stack upgrades when you have more than 64 items in the stack, and the rest of the stack is deleted

Make a backpack with stack upgrade and place there more than 64 items to one stack.
Then ctrl+middleclick it, and it will delete all the items that are over the 64

(My friend discovered it, so I am not sure if I am describing it correctly)
