Scada-LTS and scalabillity

Hi all,
Our company is looking into scada-lts as a system to provide to our customers.
What we have seen so far is really great.
What we wonder is how well scada-lts scale.
A typical customer has some where between 200-500 PLC or other type of controller devices,
how well does one instance of scada-lts scale to this number of units?
Of cause there will also be alarms, HMI, trends aso.
We can see that we might need to split the largest customers into multiple servers as they have around 3-4000 PLC and other control units.
Is there a recommendation on when it is time to start to split one customer into multiple servers,scada-LTS instances?

We already had clients with 10,000 data points, but this already has certain hardware requirements. However, we strongly recommend dividing into smaller units if possible.
