Even though the field DMP-ID exists and the information will be automatically provided, we need an explicit mapping to the fields above to store the information. Thats why it would be good to have these children elements.

Do you expect in your use cases to assign a persistent identifier to DMPs or some other identifiers as well?

I am asking, because so far we considered that the dmp_id would be used in most cases to assign a DOI, and that's why we assumed that there is a stable system behind the identifier that would have these (e.g. publisher, license, date_published) fields. This assumption holds basically for all PID systems.
