Description

Sunstone error when custom user input contains $ (dollar sign)

To Reproduce

  • Create a VM template
  • Add a custom user input to the context section
  • Instantiate VM from this template and add a series of $ to the field
  • Error when trying to build VM, around parsing of the template

Expected behavior

As there is a use case where custom user inputs could be used to enter passwords, this should be able to support all types of special characters as well
