Google Fi and unable to activate RCS

I am on google Fi and am unable to activate RCS I am being given the error RCS CHATS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS DEVICE AND AT TIMES the messages become No compatible sim

RCS requires Google Messages and also likely granting a special permission to Play services via AppOps using ADB so it can access phone identifiers. There's info about it in the forum. Google Fi may add more problems but that's expected. We don't have full support for the Google Fi software.

You need to fix the issues with your sandboxed Google Play install in #4912 first. All the issues likely have the same cause.

This seems to be a legitimate issue outside of just the GPS issue. Even after invoking a command to alow GPS to see an IMEI it stil does not work on FI anymore this just changed recently and many are having this issue. Plese consider reopening
