I've set up a password and a fingerprint for my private space. In the settings titled "Fingerprint Unlock for private space" i've set "Use for screen unlocking" to false. However, i can still unlock my private space with my fingerprint. I think this is an error, as i want to use the fingerprint just for apps and not to unlock the private space.

I'm using a Pixel 9 with the latest GOS.

It's currently intended to work this way.

Then i don't understand its use. What behaviour does this option change?

Whether or not the device can be unlocked via fingerprint from the lockscreen. It doesn't currently do anything for a Private Space. It would need to be extended to it.

This can still be kept open as a feature request. Was just explaining it's not a bug.
