I found one of these obsolete Silhouette Cameo 2 machines on a shelf in the workshop with no vinyl, no instructions, no manual, and no computer plugged in with the software to run it.

Does anyone know if this machine has ever been in service?

We've got a machine from the same company back at DoESLiverpool.

The dedicated software is dreadful and only works on Windows, which is why it's so useful to have it already installed and running on a dedicated computer.

The same public hackspace computer can also be used to run the sticky label printer -- wherever that is; I've not yet seen it. Remember: Always Be Labelling!

I've noticed that there are a lot of artist events here. It doesn't take long to show them the strengths and limitations of the medium (no greyscale bitmaps please), and they are quickly turning out interesting designs that you can lay up along the side of a car, stick on windows or on the backs of chairs and laptops.

Since I can't draw, I usually cut designs from the games-icons website and stick them on my fridge.
