Dear @peter-devoil and everyone

I tried to add irrigation at sw deficit node to my sim. But there is error and it says "Cannot find [Link] for type: Irrigation in object: Script
Component name: Irrigate on sw deficit
"

Please help.

Thanks

You'll need an irrigation component as well as the management component. Drag & drop one from the Standard toolbox at the bottom (in the "water components" folder) into the Block/field/area. You may need to turn off its 'Automatic irrigation' parameter.

The irrigation component applies the water, the management component tells it when and how much to apply.

Dear @peter-devoil
Thank you for feedback.
I have followed your description to add both irrigation component as well as management component (irrigation on a date) to the simulation.
But, as you see, I still got the same message. I also have copied "management.xml" and "irrigation.xml" to the folder where I am working on.

What other things I have to check?

Thanks
Lisma

Dear @peter-devoil
I moved the "irrigation" under managemen folder as shown below.

Then I got different message " The module Irrigation has asked for the value of the variable sw_dep.
It received no responses.
Component name: Irrigation"

What should I do next?

Best wishes
Lisma

You found that the component needs to be in the paddock, not the top level?
